Certified safety skills
Rest assured that every Metropolitan Developer operative holds a 100% record with CSCS (Construction Skills Certification Scheme) and CPCS (Construction Plan Competence Scheme) for their trade.
Visible leadership
Our directors and site supervisors undertake regular site inspections, taking a proactive role in minimising risks to health and safety on site.
On-site training
Providing accessible on-site information, instruction and supervision ensures everyone clearly understands their roles and responsibilities when working with concrete and groundworks.
Zero tolerance
We insist on zero tolerance for any dangerous working practices that could cause incident or injury on or off our sites.
Equipment
From our concrete pumping systems to PPE, we invest heavily in state-of-the-art equipment and resources that ensure the safety of all on site, including the adjacent public.

Working at height at The Plaza, Leeds.
The 964 room The Plaza residential scheme spanned 37 storeys, making safety when working at height an important priority for this development.
We used an Ischebeck Titan full height safety screen system to create a strong and safe barrier around the edge of the five-floor working area.
