Landmark mixed-use site in Nottingham city centre for student accommodation

In addition to increasing the number of student apartments from 176 to 220, IQ Student Accommodation, which will oversee and operate the project at 149-169 Lower Parliament Street, also plans to add a rooftop terrace that it claims might give space for any future private rented use of the building.

Planning permission for the project, proposed by Carlton Street Trading, was first given in May 2019. The ground floor of the 58,500 square foot, Leonard Design-designed structure was to have a 3,000 square foot bar and restaurant area in addition to exhibition space.
